History

The Double Eagle Saloon Deck Bar & Grill, located in East Vineland’s New Italy, was established in the 1920's. Known as a beer and whiskey bar, Seagram's 7, Canadian Club Whiskeys, Ballantine & Schlitz Beers were common fare.

Off the beaten path, this building was tagged as a speakeasy during the prohibition.

The building and business, previously named Good Sports Bar & Grill, was purchased in April of 2011, and renamed Double Eagle Saloon. The meaning behind the name and logo are in relationship to a very rare golf score (we own Eastlyn Golf Course about 1/4 mile down the street from the Saloon).

More importantly we are American’s & Patriotic! Hence the blue and gold colors ( Colors of the US Congressional Army) and the 13 gold stars ( A reference to the original 13 colonies). We want our Saloon to have an old fashioned hometown feel. A place where respectful people and families can enjoy good food and drink without dealing with nonsense.
